First CORE China meeting, 20-23 October 2011

The historical city of Xi'An, Shaanxi province, was the venue for the first Colloquium on Oral Rehabilitation (CORE) meeting in China. The journal has previously held Summer Schools in Bevagna, Capri and Sienna, Italy, but in October 2011 moved the venue to the Far East city renowned for the amazing Terracotta Warriors. The theme of the meeting was 'A critical update on occlusion'. A distinguished faculty of international and national speakers kindly facilitated the proceedings - managing the challenge of different perspectives on occlusion and interacting with participants representing both clinicians and researchers.
