摘要

The provision of accessible, equitable high quality care and services is difficult for health and social care teams and organisations to achieve. The ideal is a high quality service delivered locally by well trained, motivated people that provides the right care in the right service in the right setting (McSherry and Pearce, 2007). This approach to service provision must be capable of demonstrating success in a meaningful way to patients, the public, health and social care organisations and governments. The ultimate challenge for any team working in the complexity of health and social care is developing and sustaining collaborations and partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders and teams.
