摘要

In this paper, we report a scheme to achieve an all-optical multiple-function logic unit including OR and AND gates for 10Gb/s nonreturn-to-zero on-off-keying (NRZ-OOK) signals based on four-wave mixing in a silicon waveguide. The functions of the logic OR and AND gates are demonstrated simultaneously using 10-bit OOK sequences. The eye diagrams of the OR and AND signals are realized experimentally as the incident signals are both modulated by OOK sequences originating from 2(31)-1 pseudorandom binary sequences.
