CONVERGENCE RATES OF SUMMATION PROCESSES OFCONVOLUTION TYPE OPERATORS

We establish quantitative pointwise estimates of the rate of con-vergence of equi-uniform summation processes of convolution type operators interms of the modulus of continuity of functions to be approximated and higherorder absolute moments of approximate kernels. Furthermore, applications arepresented for equi-uniform summation processes which are induced by variousimportant summability methods, and several concrete important examples ofapproximating operators are also provided.
