Capito seeks proof EPA considered jobs

A West Virginia lawmaker is asking the Environmental Protection Agency to prove it considered the impact on jobs and the economy when developing regulations for coal-fired power plants. Republican Representative Shelley Moore Capito requested the agency provide “copies of all internal memoranda, communication, analysis, and documents regarding the EPA's consideration of the impact on economic activity and employment (cumulative and non-cumulative) related to these rules and regulations,” according to a letter sent to Administrator Lisa Jackson on Tuesday.
