Thursday was a second consecutive slow day in the over-the-counter coal futures market, where all reported trades involved NYMEX look-alike coal, with Q1 2008 trading at 48.50 dollars/short ton, front-half 2008 trading at 49.55 dollars/st, CY 2008 trading at 51.40 dollars/st, Q4 2008 trading at 43.35 dollars/st and the Q4 2008 over Q3 2008 spread trading three times at 1.50 dollars.
