ICG settles with investors’ group for 1.4 million dollars

A group of investors of International Coal Group, now merged with Arch Coal, have tentatively settled in federal court for 1.4 million dollars as a result of a class-action lawsuit filed in July 2009. The US District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia announced on Friday the proposed settlement between plaintiff Saratoga Advantage Trust and co-plaintiff Theodore Hyer, and defendants ICG and company officers Wilbur L. Ross, Bennett K. Hatfield, Wendy L. Teramoto and William D. Campbell.
