Spanish R&D centre finds routes for synthesising enhanced PLA bioplastic

Plastics technology centre aimplas has announced new funded work, to establish competitive processes for the synthesis and modification of bioplastics. the project, called sintepol (synthesis and modification of polymers through reactive extrusion), is funded by the valencian institute of Business Competitiveness, (instituto valenciano de Competitividad empresarial - ivaCe) and the spanish arm of the european Commissions’ european regional Development Fund (erDF - Fondo FeDer).
