In this tribute, we are expressing our profound gratitude, appreciation, and respect to the late Melanie Jasper for her many years of dedicated and inspiring work as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nursing Management. Over more than a decade her efforts were devoted to advancing quality scholarly work in the areas of nursing management and leadership. The large number of scientific papers published bear witness to her efforts.
