QUALITY NURSING home care has been and continues to be a major area of concern for governmental agencies, nursing home owners, and leadership teams. Long-term care facilities, particularly nursing homes, are feeling increasing pressure by ever-changing consumer preferences, staffing shortages, financial constraints, and a perception by the general public of quality issues. During this time of great challenges, members of the nursing home leadership team are being called upon to ensure quality care services and manage current daily operational needs, while leading efforts to help the organization be viable in the future.
