Applications of resonant piezoelectric devices to the measurement of physical quantities

The most common applications of piezoelectric resonators as sensors are summarised. After a short presentation of piezoelectric resonator, the principle of each kind of device and the main relation between the measured quantity and the obtained frequency shift is given. The devices have been classified in two categories
