摘要

This paper proposes a device that operates on the basis of a polarization interferometer and makes it possible to use laser radiation to form two-dimensional interferograms and interference signals that satisfy the quadratic frequency modulation (QFM) law. QFM signals with smoothly varying informational parameters are investigated, and it is shown that they can be used to monitor small linear and angular displacements.
