Calculational modeling has been carried out of the responses of a compound bolometer with electrical substitution, based on high-temperature superconducting film. The operating principle of the bolometer as the main element of an absolute radiometer for absolute measurements of synchrotron radiation of the soft x-ray range 150-3000 eV is discussed. An estimate is made of how various noise components affect the threshold sensitivity of bolometers that operate with positive and negative electrothermal feedback with variation of the time constant, resistance, type of substrate material, and size of die detector area. In the optimum version, it is possible to reach a noise equivalent power of NEP approximate to 4 X 10(-11) W/Hz(1/2) at a modulation frequency of 10 Hz and a radiometer accuracy no worse than 1% when measuring a synchrotron radiation power of about 1 mu W.
