摘要

A technique has been developed for computing the surface displacements of solid bodies, including determining and eliminating the linear solid-body displacement (LSBD) by means of ail optical speckle-correlation technique. A criterion for estimating the LSBD has been substantiated, based on a comparison of two speckle images of the same surface of a material oil which two different tensile or compressive loads act. Experiments have been carried out that confirm that the technique is effective when studying the breakdown processes of structural materials. (c) 2005 Optical Society of America.
