Plane curve complements and curves on Hurwitz spaces

We study rational curves in configuration spaces which is equivalent to studying fibrations of plane curve complements. This is applied to the theory of Hurwitz spaces which are unramified covers of configuration spaces. We formulate a criterion for a finite group to occur regularly as Galois group over Q and apply this criterion in several cases.
