摘要

The efficiency of a combined adsorptive and biological treatment of contaminated soil has been investigated in laboratory and full-scale experiments. The technology described is based on the use of adsorptive carrier particles covered with preadapted bacteria. During the soil washing process, the can be eliminated in an additional biodegradation step. Four different carrier materials have been found to be suitable for technical use in soil washing plants. This technology issuitable especially for the treatment of soils contaminated with olycylic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and mineral oil. Furthermore, it can be used for the treatment of contaminated rubble or comparable industrial waste.
