Neste Oil has launched the commercial production and sales of renewable naphtha for corporate customers. NExBTL renewable naphtha can be used as a feedstock for producing bioplastics, for example, and as a biocomponent for gasoline. Kaisa Lipponen, communications manager for the Finland- headquar tered company, comments: ‘Today, renewable chemicals business is an emerging market in which the volumes will initially be fairly small.’
