摘要

The influence of incorporation of four green manures (clusterbean, sesbania, cowpea and sunhemp) in loamy sand and clay loam soils at four rates of application (0, 0.25, 0.50 and 1.00 per cent on oven dry weight basis) on apparent and porous diffusion coefficient of phosphorus (DaP and DpP) and capacity factor (b) are reported. The DaP values were higher in clay loam than loamy sand soil, irrespective of level and type of green manure, DaP values followed the order: cowpea > sesbania > clusterbean > sunhemp. Increasing rate of green manures addition enhanced DaP and DpP values in both the soils whereas, a decrease was observed with respect to 'b' value.
