Restructuring outer neritic foraminiferal assemblages in the ftermath ofthe Paleocene-Eocene thermal maximum

Deep-sea benthic foraminiferal faunas underwent severe extinction during the Paleocene-Eocene thermal maximum (PETM), but less is known about neritic environments. Through taxonomical analysis we document for the first time that recovery of neritic benthic assemblages after the PETM followed a similar pat-tern in shelf regions in New Jersey (USA) and Egypt.
