摘要

Mine fire virtual reality (VR) simulator provides trainee (student or inexperienced rescuer) with more fire details and information so that they can acquire fire developing characters and second-hand fire fighting experiences. This paper studied the methodology of reappearing mine fire by using fire numerical simulation data and VR technology in order to achieve these goals. The paper analyzes the technological characters of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and then proposes to use discrete phase model (DPM) of CFD to acquire smoke data during mine fire. Moreover, the smoke data simulation by CFD is used to assign the value to the particle system in Vega platform by means of VC++ language. By this way, this technology implements velocity vector, temperature, space location and time consistent with the actual mine fire state and achieves the reappearance of the smoke flow. At last, a heading face fire that occurred in Kongji mine is used as a prototype to reproduce the scenes of the fire development and smoke movement completely in VR environment. The study is a bold attempt of the integrated application of CFD simulation and VR technology, which can provide technical support to the virtual reappearance of fire accidents and the development of mine fire education and training system.
