Trade-Ranger of Houston and theoilsite.com, U.K. announced that they have entered into a software exploitation and development agreement to integrate theoilsite's e-tendering capabilities into Trade-Ranger. theoilsire's proprietary EAS-e~(TM) RFQ tool, which covers both open and closed tendering, will be added to Trade-Ranger's rapidly expanding suite of offerings and available for use in the third quarter of 2001.One of the key benefits of the EAS-e~(TM) technology is that it can be easily integrated with current and future services, including workflow and other custom and template-oriented processes. This tendering solution is a step toward Trade-Ranger's drive to address the industry need for managing online procurement involving complex transactions. It will support a broader tendering portfolio of interactive solutions, which will be deployed to drive the adoption of complex e-business transactions. Trade-Ranger and theoilsite.com have agreed to invest jointly in software development to continually develop and enhance e-tendering capabilities.
