摘要

There have been many developments for the determination of spontaneous combustion tendency of coal. Most of the methods are based on the internal properties of the coal itself. The relation between crossing-point method and electrical resistance of the coal was analysed here. The resistance was measured from solid coal samples and solutions obtained after the coal specimens was dissolved in water Electrical resistance property of coal has been analysed in this work as a decision parameter to define spontaneous combustion tendency of a coal seam. The other parameters which are effective on spontaneous combustion tendency were also considered by using interaction matrix concept. The experiences and information obtained in the practice and applications were used here to compare the decision parameter with respect to each other.
