A study of project implementation delays of coal mining projects in Godavari coalfield

In the recent past the demand for coal from the Southern region has shown a steady growth. To keep pace with the increasing demand, the Singareni Collieries Co. Ltd. (SCCL), the only coal producing company in Godavari valley coal basin, initiated a bold expansion programme, through formulation and implementation of a number of coal mining projects.
