The present paper deals with the stability analysis of an internal dragline dump of an opencast coal mine. Stability analysis of the dragline dump has been done by limit equilibrium method (LEM). Sensitivity analysis has also been done by considering various geotechnical parameters namely; number of dragline cut, thickness of coal rib, height and slope of dragline dump, cohesion and friction angle of dump material. The sensitivity indices of the above geotechnical parameters have been evaluated. It has been concluded from results that friction angle of dump material is having the highest sensitivity value followed by slope angle, height of dump, cohesion of dump material, number of dragline cuts, width of coal rib and gradient of the seam.
