The evaluation of the pressure's manifestations of stress due to the surrounding main horizontal mine workings at Valea Jiului area, according to the knowledge of the rheological behaviour of the surrounding rocks

The main horizontal mining workings related to the opening schemes of the mines in Valea Jiului are underground constructions of which work duration is in a long period of time, needing more fruitful economical-technical solutions for the assurance of the stability during their whole duration of existence. Considering the time parameter, meaning the rocks' time-dependent rocks behaviour can only solve the efficient solution of the stability of capital mining workings. This behaviour must be constituted as a base in the research and proposition for the long duration excavations. In order to choose a rational work system of the uphold, there must be the solicitation on the uphold at different periods of time; the modification of the solicitation during time is obvious only in the analytical research in which the massif is studied and analysed through the prism of the rheological behaviour.
