Development of electrohydraulic breaking method in Poland - review of current status

摘要

The first tests on mass rock mining and making of mass rock breakouts proved full usability of executing of these works with use of EHD 5 system, which is based on the essence of the electrohydraulic effect. Suitable tests have been executed in Godula sandstone, in the rock mass of "Wisla - Oblaziec" Mine. However, for the estimation of the real usability of the machine, results of additional tests, made in various conditions and within various deposits, are needed. Prognosis is optimistic, because tested Godula sandstone, is one of the most breaking - resistant rocks, occurring in Poland.Is has been proved that the electrohydraulic method can be successfully used for such rocks as: granite, dolomite etc. Thus we may assume, that with use of this method, also mining of granite and dolomite mass rocks will be possible. Further works will be aimed at economic aspects of the electrohydraulic method of mining.
