Based upon first-hand experiences in the environmental-compliance field,and specifically upon many years of experience gained at facilities that have endured one or more agency audits,it is safe to say that the position of the onsite inspector is often that of an entry-level position - this is not meant to be disparaging,but rather is a simple observation.Unfortunately,this means that many inspectors lack experience when it comes to dealing with the real-world application of environmental regulations at complex chemical process facilities.
