Mine degasification of gassy coal mines in the Czech Republic

In the article the procedure of mine gas capture and drainage from the underground to the surface of gassy coal mines in the Czech Republic, including technical equipment and organizational measures is described. A significant part is the description of methods of degasification in the areas of active faces and closed gobs. In the contribution, parameters of degasification in mines of hard coal deposit of the Upper Silesian Basin in the Ostrava-Karvina coalfield are stated.
