Studies on the seasonal pattern of flora and fauna of two freshwater ponds in Paramanandapur under Moyna Block area, East Midnapore, West Bengal

摘要

The paper represents the seasonal pattern of growing flora and fauna of two freshwater ponds in Paramanandapur village areas under Moyna Block of East Midnapore District, West Bengal., The seasonal assessments of the studies were undertaken during March 2000 to July 2001 for three seasons; hot summer, rainy and whiter respectively. In both the ponds the concentration of flora and fauna were enriched in hot summer season rather than others. Although it is a preliminary study of the two ponds of thisblock but itmay help as an inventory to the distribution pattern and species variation for further study.
