Global output of chemical fibers is characterized by noticeable reduction. In 2008, according to the assessment by Japanese association of chemical fibers manufacturers - Japan Chemical Fiber Association, (" JCFA"), the global production of chemical fibers, save polyolefine fibers and acetate tow for cigarette filters, decreased by 3.6% or by 145 thsd tons, down to 39.7 mln ton. In particular, the output of synthetic fibers decreased by 3.1%, down to 36.9 mln ton, of cellulose (viscose) ones - dropped by 9%, down to 2.75 mln ton.
