Peabody Energy Earns Top Honors for Environmental Leadership in Colorado

Peabody Energy has earned dual honors for pioneering land restoration and water management best practices on thousands of acres of rangeland in Colorado. In March, the company earned the 2009 'Excellence in Research and Use of New Practices Reclamation Award' from the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and the Colorado Mining Association for its work to restore lands at its former Seneca operations in the state.
