Hal Quinn, President National Mining Association To Sneak at the 2009 Bluefield Coal Show/'The New Political Landscape for Coal'

Plans are well underway for the 18~(th) biennial Bluefield Coal Show to be held September 16-18 at the Brushfork National Guard Armory/Civic Center. Over 230 exhibitors from 32 states and six other countries will be displaying their products and services for the coal mining industry. The event is the largest show of its type held in the eastern part of the United States. A series of seminars will be held during the show, beginning on Wednesday, September 16 at 3:00 pm. This popular feature brings the most timely information available to those in the mining industry. Speakers scheduled to present their ideas include Hal Quinn, president - National Mining Association speaking on "The New Political Landscape for Coal"; Kevin Crutchfield, president-Alpha Natural Resources; Bill Raney, president of the West Virginia Coal Association as well as a representative of Joy Mining. In addition, West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin has been invited to be the keynote speaker for the Media Appreciation Breakfast planned for Wednesday morning, September 16~(th).
