摘要

The scattering of ultra-short laser pulses by a metallic nanosphere embedded in a dielectric matrix was studied theoretically in the frame of the dipole approximation. Calculations were performed for the corrected Gaussian shape of the incident laser pulse, which enabled us to consider both multi-cycle and sub-cycle pulses. Analysis of the influence of the scattering process on the shape of scattered pulse is made for various durations and carrier frequencies of the incident pulses.
