Tor the most part, the outside world doesn't know anything about the coal industry and the people who make a living mining the coal that has transformed the United States from an agrarian-based society into a global industrial power. An event like the Friends of Coal Auto Fair, July 19-21, 2013, at the YMCA Paul Cline Memorial Sports Complex is a place where coal people can gather to just be themselves in a setting surrounded by beautifully restored classic vehicles, awesome music and friends.
