Cloud Peak Energy Mine Reaches One-Million Work-Hours Safety Milestone

Cloud Peak Energy announced in November that employees and contractors at the company's Spring Creek Mine, located in southeastern Montana, operated more than one-million work-hours consecutively without incurring a Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) reportable injury. The milestone was passed at the end of October 2013 after more than 500 days without a reportable injury.
