Gundlach's Three-Dimensional, Two-Stage Crusher Technology Has Grown with Today's Coal Industry

Crusher technology has come a long way since T.J. Gundlach's breakthrough designs transformed how coal mines size product to meet changing market demands. Yet the heart of the Gundlach genius is still found in the roll designs and two-stage crushing technology that produced the world's first 3-D product. One of the biggest changes in crusher technology came with the high output demands for Western coal from the Powder River Basin. The two-stage, four roll Gundlach breaker pictured above is destined for a PRB mine where it will provide the high tonnage production these mines require, while producing a cubical product with less fines and the uniform sizing that power plants demand.
