The University of Cincinnati continues to have difficulty filling a one-year coal supply need,having re-bid once due to a lack of bids the first time around on 3/4-inch/zero fines coal for wintertime delivery(CO 3/15;3/22;5/17;6/7).After changing its topsize coal spec to 1-1/4-inch for the re-bid,the university attracted an offer,but the unnamed vendor then withdrew the bid"due to market conditions,"a school official said.What's been sought to this point is an initial one-year contract,with two additional one-year extensions.
