For the past two seasons, powdery mildew hasn't been as much of a problem in tomatoes as experienced in 2009. But, since the disease is so sporadic and ongoing, powdery mildew remains a concern to growers, especially since some of the older registered fungicides appear as if they're becoming less effective compared to previous years. "What we're finding is that standard treatments are effective when we have lower pressure mildew problems.
