New Orleans--It was hard missing the Red Zoo Marketing booth at the Produce Marketing Association's Fresh Summit 2002 in New Orleans recently. The "Zoos Brothers" theme was an easy choice for the Red Zoo Marketing team. Correspondingly, the bright red carpet, big red moose and several representatives dressed like the Blues Brothers were delightful distractions during the four-day event in the Big Easy. "With the conference and exhibition in New Orleans, we simply wanted to capitalize on the blues and jazz theme that prevails in this wonderful city," said Keith Pickard, head of marketing for the Canadian distributor of premium quality greenhouse-grown vegetables. "We work hard at what we do, but we have fun too."
