Rigidity of Formal Characters of Lie algebras of type A

摘要

For a complex simple Lie algebra of type A, given a family of elements f(lambda) is an element of Z[Lambda], lambda is an element of Lambda(+), we show that f(lambda) is just the formal character of the Weyl module V(lambda) if f(lambda) satisfies two natural conditions.
