Peabody Energy wins bid to be apart of a Mongolian coal project

Peabody Energy confirmed that it will be part of a select group of international companies that will participate in the development of the Tavan Tolgoi coking coal reserve in the South Gobi region of Mongolia. St. Louis, Missouri-based Peabody Energy issued a brief statement on Tuesday confirming its participation in a global energy consortium, selected by the government of Mongolia, to develop the reserve.
