Training is an essential element in the professional development, performance, motivation and loyalty of employees. The latest provincial sectorial survey of the textile industry (October 2010) found that nearly 33% of those working in the sector had neither a diploma nor a certificate, 30% had a high school diploma, and 15% had a vocational, apprenticeship or trade school diploma.
