摘要

In the present research an attempt has been made to study the electrodeposition of Zn-Fe alloy coatings on steel substrate using chloride bath at room temperature. Zinc and zinc dross were used as anode in the bath containing metal chloride, conductive substances and other additives. A thin and adherent alloy coating with coating thickness around 26 mu m and microdardness around 138 VHN were obtained.
