Brazil's CVRD wants to be one of the world's largest coal producers by 2015 and with major projects in Australia,China and Africa the company is well on its way to meeting that goal.There's been considering buzz in the industry of late that a joint venture agreement between CVRD and Venezuela's Carbozulia to develop the Socuy deposit has been indefinitely postponed.When we pressed this question to a spokesman for CVRD we were told that "CVRD doesn't like to shut the door on any country or any project."
