CP reviewing short list of potential DM&E buyers

Canadian Pacific has pared down a list of potential buyers for the west end of the former Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad but has yet to reach a deal, CEO E. Hunter Harrison said Wednesday at the company's annual shareholder meeting. “Lots of people expressed interest initially … and we've taken a long list and cut it down to a short list, but if we don't receive appropriate proceeds, we'll continue to operate it,” Harrison said via webcast from the Toronto meeting.
