Since the first synthesis by Smolenskii and Agra-novskata [1] in the late 1950s, Pb(Mg,/3Nb2/3)O3 (PMN) has been extensively studied because of its superior and interesting dielectric properties, such as dielectric relaxation phenomena, temperature-insensitive giant dielectric constants, -and diffuse phase transition (DPT). Although their fundamentals are not fully understood, it is believed that the characteristics are closely related with the disordered arrangement of the B-site cations (Mg2+ and Nb5+) [2].
