Patterning polymer metal precursor for high temperature superconductor films

There are various applications of polymers in the field of high temperature superconductors (HTSCs). They are used as thickening agents for precursor solutions [1], in composites [2] or as complexing agents for metal ions [3]. In comparison with the preparation of HTSC cuprates from inorganic salts and oxides, the production from polymer complex compounds is more rapid, and it is possible to get bulk materials, fibres and thick or thin films [4].
