摘要

Compaction of powders by uniaxial or isostatic pressing is one of the most important and widely used forming process, especially in the ceramic and metal industry. Many attempts have been made to describe the compaction behaviour of powders by mathematical models [1-5]. However, these models are limited to special powders or pressure ranges. This work describes a modification of O. Krockel's compaction model [1] and experimental results for metal and ceramic powders.
