Zinc aluminium foundry alloys are finding more and more application in today's modernizing casting industry. These alloys present some advantages in comparison with aluminium-based alloys, especially high strength with low casting temperature. One of the main problems facing these alloys is that the properties degrade when at temperatures above 100 ℃, which restricts their application [1]. To improve the heat resistance of these alloys, ceramic materials are often used to reinforce them [2, 3]. The purpose of this letter is to investigate the thermal expansion coefficient of composites at various temperatures.
