摘要

YBa_2Cu_3O_(7-x) is known to be susceptible to contamination by numerous elements [1-6], which may strongly affect T_c and J_c even at low concentrations. The detrimental effects of Si and Al are well known. Interaction layers formed between the superconductor and substrate material not only degrade the former but additionally induce the loss of valuable material. In order to assess the substrate superconductor interactions, compatibility experiments have been performed [7-9].
